Cheery, indeed -- but somehow AFI (the name stands for A Fire Inside) make abandoning all hope sound so inviting. The only bad thing is that AFI just isnt the same anymore .But if youre thinking about buying sing the sorrow on cd and you have record player or turntable get this LP and you will not regret it its 2 vinyl records on color how cool is that. I've had that AFI album for a very long time -- might be time to give it a re-listen! It has never been played and it was only opened to have the records signed by the band during a public signing at The Record Exchange music store in Boise, ID in January of 2010, during their Crash Love Tour. After getting Sing The Sorrow I decided to try some earlier AFI. It's definitely a crap shoot as vinyl was at a pretty low point - although I've found a few gems from the time period. !Honest review!!! Now I see why the old fans were put off, even though I like the new sound better, it was a change.
