I have already briefly mentioned the project in regards to Fresno Dam outside of Havre. The Milk River project is the one of the state’s oldest and most influential federal irrigation projects. The St. Mary’s diversion dams, canals, drops, and siphon were completed in in 1917 and still remain in-use today. The project had 32 16-inch pipe piles to be driven at three bents. The Milk River joins the Missouri River just south of Nashua, Montana, a small town of just under 300 residents. The Milk River Project is an irrigation project authorized in 1903 intended to supply the Lower Milk River valley with water for irrigation. 32 likes. The Milk River Drainage Improvement Project is being undertaken to improve reliability and performance and to update aging infrastructure.

MRIDDD facilities accept storm drainage from the Cities of Harper Woods and St. Clair Shores and combined sewage from the City of Grosse Pointe Woods.
