Marcus Edward Trescothick MBE (born 25 December 1975) is a former English cricketer, who played first-class cricket for Somerset County Cricket Club, and represented England in 76 Test matches and 123 One Day Internationals. Marcus Trescothick has scored three half-centuries and a century in the County Championship for Somerset this season. Marcus enjoyed a hugely successful 2016, scoring five centuries which brings his total to 49 for Somerset – level with Harold Gimblett’s record for the county. The first one for an English player.
