Iowa Area Development Group Community Foundation (IADG CF) started in 2003 with only a dream and an unselfish vision for introducing and strengthening community-based philanthropy throughout rural Iowa. Iowa Area Development Group (IADG), which was founded by Iowa’s rural electric cooperatives, is a proud leader in Iowa’s community foundation development efforts. Kari works directly with the Board of Directors and oversees organizational activities including program development and management, membership recruitment and retention, as well as education and outreach for the purpose of strengthening and growing philanthropy in Iowa. The Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque has activated the Greater Dubuque Disaster Recovery Fund in partnership with the United Way of Dubuque Area Tri-States to provide a coordinated response to COVID-19. The Story County Community Foundation is a donor-driven public foundation whose purpose is to improve the quality of life in Story County. The Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa is monitoring the local impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The mission of the Community Foundation of Jackson County is to nurture charitable giving, enrich quality of life and promote a sense of community now, and in the future.
