Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (250 degrees C). 2 Roast uncovered 25 to 35 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender and browned. In ungreased 15x10x1-inch pan, mix all ingredients; spread evenly in pan. After about 15 minutes get the potatoes out and spoon the hot fat over the potatoes to baste them, repeat after 30 minutes and 45 minutes. Heat oven to 425°F.

Serve immediately. (This step is not strictly necessary but it will make the potatoes crispier and more delicious.)
