It really is fabulous. With its colourful 700 year history, guests can savour the wealth of bygone eras and Irish culture throughout their stay, from the grand castle exterior to the richly decorated interior. Dromoland is a castle, but not as castle-like as Ashford. Lovely service. The castle offers all guests a myriad of ways to enjoy the warm hospitality of Ireland. Ashford also was recently named one of the top hotels in the world by Travel & Leisure magazine, so if you want to say you've seen it, you will never be closer :) (EDIT: I just looked in the magazine, and it was rated the Top 3 hotel in the world!!!)
